How do I create a deadline?
Open Deadline Dots and tap Create Deadline. Enter a title, start date, deadline date, and dot-grid size, then save.
Can I create multiple deadlines?
Deadline Dots is intentionally designed around one active deadline at a time.
How do I edit my deadline?
Open your active deadline and tap Edit. You can update the title, dates, or dot-grid size.
How do I replace my current deadline?
Create a new deadline while one already exists. Deadline Dots will ask you to confirm before replacing the current deadline.
How do I add a widget?
On your iPhone Home Screen, touch and hold an empty area, tap Edit or Add Widget, search for Deadline Dots, choose a widget size, and add it.
Which deadline does the widget display?
The widget automatically displays your current active deadline.
Can I use multiple widgets?
Yes. You can add multiple Deadline Dots widgets in different sizes. They all display your active deadline.
Why didn't my widget update immediately?
iOS controls widget refresh timing. Open Deadline Dots to confirm your deadline, then wait briefly or remove and re-add the widget if needed.
What do the dots mean?
Each dot represents an equal portion of the total time between your start date and deadline.
Does Deadline Dots require an account?
No.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. Deadline data is stored locally on your device.
Does Deadline Dots support dark mode?
Yes. Deadline Dots follows your iPhone's system appearance.
